Mr Mitchell, who is based in Leeds, visited Abs several times at her home in Nottingham, where the pair would spend 'a few nights' together at a time.
As they began to grow closer, Abs quickly decided to move in with Mr Mitchell at his home in Yorkshire.
The 25-year-old clarified that she had not been a student ofMr Mitchell's, despite suspicious viewers wondering if this is how they met.
'I've been asked so many times "was I one of Jonny's students?",' she said, laughing to the camera before confirming that she had attended a different school in Nottingham.
Despite the difference in age, Abs maintained that the two 'have so much in common' and that they 'have such a laugh'.
'It feels like such a normal relationship,' she said.
'I think people assume because you're in an age gap relationship that you're not going to have anything in common and that we just sit in silence but no, it's not like that.'
She said that her parents don't mind about the relationship since she isn't underage.
'People ask if my parents approve. I mean, I'm 25 so I don't need their approval but they like him and get along with him.'

Abs also said that she wasn't interested in having children and that wasn't on the cards for the couple.
'I don't care what other people think,' she said, adding that it was 'easy' to regard online hate.
'Other people's opinions are irrelevant to me. They're allowed their opinion, that's okay. But it does not affect me, like, it does not matter.'
'I think as long as you're happy, that should be the main thing.
Elsewhere, she said that money is no object in their relationship, despite many online assuming Abs is only with Mr Mitchell for his cash.
'People comment all the time like "sugar daddy" or say he pays for everything which isn't the case, we split. If he pays for something, I'll buy something and we do split the bills.'
'Just because you're in an age gap relationship doesn't mean that he pays for everything. With someone that might be the case which is completely fine, that's their life, that's why they want to do.
'Everyone is different and there are different circumstances and there are different situations for people, not everything is the same.
